SKIF Martha on mannequin

Hello all!
I finally have a photo of SKIF Martha now, as she stands; not sewn, no “waist” band, and no collar.  I’m still working on the collar.  (I wish I had a waist like that mannequin!)  As soon as I get this first Rowan project done (Kaffe Fassett Colourscapes), I’m going to knock it out.

In the meanwhile, here is another kit below that I added to the website yesterday.   I can’t WAIT to make this one!  I even have the yarn in stock – Noro Iro.  It’s called the “Out of the Box Sweater” and it looks like a very quick knit!  It’s from Imagine Knit Designs.

It’s been raining for 2 days in Memphis, on and off, so I haven’t been able to work on the caravan.  I am, however, formulating the finishes, and am about to refurbish the insect screens.  One of them was completely torn off.  When DB and I tore off the “new” carpet we found remnants of old sheet vinyl underneath, in the old pebble pattern, like granny used to have in the kitchen.  I think I may put some of that back in.

I’m off work tomorrow, taking my gorgeous boxer, Cassie to the vet, cleaning the guest bedroom for my adorable sister, and generally cleaning house.  I’ll somehow squeeze in some knitting time, of course!
